Carmelo Hayes made a special appearance on WWE RAW last night.
The reigning NXT Champion’s performance was well received by fans, and according to Twitter account WRKD Wrestling, WWE see Hayes as a potential major player:
“NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes is expected to be involved with #WWERaw tonight. Many backstage feel as though the 28-year-old has high potential to be a major player in the company for years to come”.
Hayes is now expected to defend his NXT Title against Baron Corbin tonight on NXT.
