Despite winning the World Title (briefly) at WrestleMania XL this past weekend, a new report from Fightful Select (subscription required) claims that Drew McIntyre still hasn’t re-signed with WWE.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that there is no substantive update other than that McIntyre still hasn’t re-signed with the company.

Sapp writes that he was told this was “not cause for alarm” with WWE’s new regime, and it is common.

McIntyre is still being presented incredibly well on WWE TV, and it’s clear that they see him vs. CM Punk as a major PLE headliner in the summer once Punk is cleared to compete.
