Is Cargill Debuting Anytime Soon?

Jade Cargill tells fans you shouldn't rush success, another possible sign that the WWE is taking a more cautious approach to her eventual WWE debut. The former AEW TBS Champion recently chatted with The Dallas  News about her time training in the WWE.

“So, you want me to reveal what we have in the works it seems like. [Laughs] So, listen, I think the fan base should be patient. I think they need to understand we’re making a diamond. We’re creating something that’s gonna be a legacy. We’re creating something that’s going to create echoes and waves throughout not just the wrestling culture, but pop culture and beyond. They’re setting me up for success, you shouldn’t rush success.

What Happened to Jade's In-Ring Debut?

The WWE made sure the WWE Universe was well-aware of Jade's signing to the promotion, announcing it on WWE TV then having Cargill show up on backstage segments on RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and even a PLE. This fired up the rumor mill as fans wondered where Cargill would debut. For some fans, it seemed her in-ring debut was imminent.

Then Cargill seemed to disappear from sight, leading to speculation whether the WWE was having buyer's remorse. Fan chatter only increased after Triple H insinuated that Cargill hadn't received adequate training before entering the WWE.

Cargill received a strong push during her run in AEW, enjoying a lengthy undefeated streak. However, some critics questioned whether her wrestling ability warranted the push. While Cargill was protected by the length of her matches, it would be unfair to label her in-ring work as poor. However, the WWE is known for wanting wrestlers to learn the WWE style, regardless of their previous experience. That's why many veterans have worked in NXT before arriving on the main roster.

Whatever the reason for the WWE promoting Cargill's signing then pulling her from TV, Jade seems to feel it will be worth the wait when she does debut:

“I’ve been on TV in front of thousands of people several times, one thing I know how to do is entertain a crowd. And no one no one- can say different. I can do that. The WWE Universe knows exactly what they’re doing. I trust them. I believe in this system. And when they see me in that ring, understand, there’s no turning back. [WWE]’s believing in everything I’m doing, given me everything that I could fathom. And I’m going to be ready. I’m already ready. But again, it’s on my time, and everybody should be patient. And when I come, just understand I’m taking over.”
