Looks like a major match is planned for February's Elimination Chamber. Now that Bayley has won The Royal Rumble, fans want to know how the WWE will determine Rhea Ripley's opponent for WrestleMania 40.
PWInsider is reporting the WWE plans to hold an Elimination Chamber Match to determine Rhea Ripley's opponent at "The Showcase of the Immortals." It's believed that Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch are the two wrestlers most likely to win the match.
The WWE has been heavily hinting at a Becky Lynch vs Rhea Ripley match at WrestleMania. Their recent face-to-face promo made it clear Lynch wants to face "The Eradicator" and Ripley, a dominant champion since winning the SmackDown Women's Championship (now the Women's World Championship). Likewise, Ripley is ready to prove herself by defeating Lynch.
However, Liv Morgan seems like she'll cross paths with Ripley. The two have history, with Ripley costing Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Ripley also knocked Liv out of action last summer (which allowed Morgan to take time off for her real-life injury). While Becky vs Rhea seems like a bigger match, don't be surprised to see Morgan end up in a match against Ripley down the road. Whether it's for the Women's World Championship will likely depend on WrestleMania 40's winner.
What do you think of this news? If the WWE holds an Elimination Chamber Match, which female Superstars should compete for a shot at Rhea Ripley?
