A trio of released WWE Superstars was spotted behind the scenes at TNA last night.

Mace, Mansoor, and Alex Zayne were all backstage at the recent TNA tapings in Orlando, reports Fightful Select.

Although none appeared before the live crowd, the outlet notes that all three had been spotted backstage, with no further details provided. It remains to be seen whether they debut - or return, in Zayne’s case - on night two of the tapings, which goes down tonight (Saturday, January 20) at the time of writing.

Mace and Mansoor, two quarters of the Maximum Male Models stable, were among the mass WWE layoffs in September, with their 90-day non-compete clauses having recently expired. Their first post-WWE appearance came for the rising Deadlock Pro Wrestling promotion, with only Mansoor having wrestled since, besting Dark Sheik on a Hoodslam Wrestling event.

Alex Zayne, meanwhile, was let go from WWE in June 2021. A fixture of NXT and 205 Live as Ari Sterling, Zayne has appeared for TNA previously, his most recent outing being in October 2022. He now resides in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he finished with eight points in the annual World Tag League tournament alongside AEW’s Lance Archer.

TNA Reportedly Signing Multiple Free Agents

While there is no official word on whether any of the three men have signed with TNA Wrestling, the company has finalised the signings of multiple other free agents since the TNA rebrand was confirmed, the latest being Ash By Elegance, the former Dana Brooke. Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, also debuted at Hard To Kill, but it’s unknown if he’s signed an official deal with TNA as of yet.
