Smackdown was loaded with star power on its Oct 14th season premiere.

Already a star-studded show filled with talents like Jade Cargill, John Cena, and Roman Reigns, WWE made a quiet yet unexpected signing as the new General Manager of Smackdown.

During an in-ring segment with Triple H, Adam Pierce, and Dominik Mysterio, Triple H introduced Nick Aldis as the new General Manager of Smackdown. 

‍

‍

This is Nick Aldis’  on-screen debut for the company after spending prior years in TNA and NWA.

‍

He’s well known for his NWA run, where he was NWA Worlds Champion for 1,043 days. 

‍

Though this is Aldis’ 1st time being seen on TV for the company, he has been with the company since August on a trial basis as a producer.

‍

Aldis has now been officially signed to the company after his debut.

‍
