AEW were heavily hyping up a huge Sting announcement for AEW Dynamite last night, and the announcement may have come as a surprise to some, as The Icon announced that he is set to retire in 2024.

Sting cut a passionate promo referencing names such as Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair before stating that he will be retiring at the 2024 Revolution PPV event.

It’s unknown when the 2024 Revolution event will be, or who Sting will be facing in his final-ever match. Names being thrown around on social media include Darby Allin and Adam Copeland.

Sting is one of the greatest of all time, and has had major runs in companies such as WCW, WWE, TNA, and AEW.
