The Devil is...Adam Cole. Fans watching Worlds End witnessed MJF lose the AEW World Heavyweight Championship to Samoa Joe by knockout. MJF was at a serious disadvantage as he worked the match with an injured shoulder. However, he was unable to stop Joe's relentless attack and Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch, winning the match and the title.

However, things were just getting started as The Devil's minions surrounded the ring. Adam Cole hobbled into the ring with his crutches but he and Max were unable to fight the numbers game. The masked men held both MJF and Cole as they prepared to blast one of them with a chair. Then, the lights went out and when they came back on, Adam Cole was watching it all from a chair. The Devil's minions unmasked, revealing Wardlow, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett.

Fans have been puzzling over the mystery for months and now we finally know who the mastermind behind the mask is as well as who have been helping him. It will be interesting to see if AEW can elevate these various wrestlers through this storyline.
