Since Austin Theory picked up a career-defining win over John Cena at WrestleMania 39, he has been in a state of flux on the main roster. Theory has moved dramatically down the card and is currently in a heel tag-team with Grayson Waller.

Theory looked at one stage to be an up and coming main eventer, yet over the past 12-months, WWE have taken Theory’s character in a completely different and unexpected direction.

On the latest edition of 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff stated that Theory should be taken off TV, until WWE work out what they want to do with him:

“I’d probably take him off the air until I figured out what I really wanted to do with him, even if it took a couple of months of character work and exploration and trying different things and bring him back. Because the audience is still kind of resisting him, just a bit…”
